How We Support Children & Families

In School

Student Support Specialists are currently helping students at Claxton, Emma, Estes, Oakley, Hall Fletcher, and Johnston Elementary Schools, and Eblen Intermediate.

They connect students and their families to important resources in the community that meet each family’s specific needs. Student Support Specialists work with students one-on-one, in small groups, and across the whole school to support their social, emotional, and academic growth.

After School

Afterschool & Summer Enrichment programs provide a safe place after school throughout the school year and over the summer.  Kids receive homework help, a healthy snack, and take part in fun activities!

The Family Resource Center helps families with food assistance, school supply assistance, emergency financial assistance, parent workshops, and more.
